It was a day nine years in the making. Merely middle school teens when it all began, no one quite knew at the time what an incredible journey Kevin + Jackie were embarking upon together. That the secret crushes, stolen glances, and butterflies on their first few dates would grow into this strong, everlasting love. So deep, firm, and steady is the love Kevin + Jackie share.

And their day truly reflected that. Nearly a decade of both Kevin + Jackie and their dearest friends and family longing for, dreaming, and praying about this day, had brought them to this moment, their wedding day. June 15th, 2013.

The covenant meaning of this day was so tangible in both the small moments and the grand… as Jackie donned her ball-gown wedding dress at the start of the day. As Kevin stood beaming, hands calmly folded, awaiting his bride. As Jackie’s dad walked her down the aisle to her groom. As Kevin + Jackie sealed their love with a kiss at the front of alter. As they turned, hand in hand, to face church pews overflowing with their applauding guests. And as they danced the night away, lost in the joy-filled celebration that overflowed in the room of their Heritage Hills reception.

Oh Kevin + Jackie, words can’t express my gratitude to you for trusting me to capture this long-awaited day. It was such an honor to share in your joy and be there to watch you pledge your lives to loving one another. I just can’t thank you enough for the privilege!
