It was a few years ago when a car full of excited girls drove down the highway, headed to visit their friend Janae, who was counseling at a nearby camp. Upon their arrival, they greeted each other with big hugs and happy chatter, and almost immediately Janae mentioned him. “You guys, one of you HAS to date this guy Zach…” Later that evening Zach + Olivia were introduced… and just like that, they clicked.

A date to the Phillies soon followed, and a deep and meaningful relationship quickly developed between Zach + Liv. With Liv’s love of photography, she has hundreds of pictures documenting the adventures they had together over the next two years.

On one particularly beautiful summer evening, the moment Zach had been planning unfolded perfectly as he paddled Olivia out to a floating dock in the middle of a lake. As the sun grew radiantly golden and light danced magically across the water, they sat on the dock taking it all in — picnicking, laughing, and stealing kisses throughout the evening. And then, what Zach had rehearsed in his mind so many times before played out as they swayed back and forth, hand-in-hand, on the dock. Just when the moment felt right, he dropped to one knee before her: pledging his unending love and devotion to her, asking that she’d make him the happiest man in the world in becoming his wife.

It’s obvious in Zach + Liv’s interaction that their relationship is a testament to Christ as they desire to make Him the center of their marriage. Their day was filled with such an overwhelming sense of joy and excitement, felt by all the guests. As Zach + Liv were announced as husband and wife, guests cheered and love just poured out from that room.

Zach + Olivia, your trust, excitement, and friendship throughout this entire process has been such a blessing to me, and words can’t express my gratitude. Your day was beautiful… luxuriously beautiful, and such an honor to have captured. I hope you’re soaking up the sunshine in Aruba, and I hope these images fill you with sweet memories of your fairytale day!! Xoxo!!
