I always find myself getting a little sentimental at this time in the year. The best year of my life (although I think I’ve said that for the last ten years ;) is coming to a close and it’s overwhelming when I consider how blessed I am. How can 2012 be topped?!!

This year has been INCREDIBLE in so many ways. From the fabulous people that I’ve met, to the ways that I’ve seen my little business grow… it’s EXCITING! I’m so thankful for each and every person that has cheered me on over the past year and encouraged me along in this journey.

Well I have a feeling 2013 is going to BRING IT in some ridiculously amazing ways and blow me away. And I just can’t wait to kick it off right! I am so crazy excited to be attending the amazing Justin & Mary Marantz’s What’s Next Tour in Washington, D.C. January 17th!!!! Yes, all those exclamation points are 100% necessary because I am THAT pumped. ;) These two know what they’re talking about… they are industry leaders and just all around inspiring people. I can’t wait to see the way they will challenge and push me to grow my business.

Not to mention the fact that it’s going to be a mini-photographer reunion! SO many of my industry friends that I love and respect will be there and I can’t WAIT to see everyone!! So if you’re a photographer in the D.C. area (or really anywhere), COME. It’s gonna be awesome.
