While I was attending the Pursuit 31 Conference this year, there was a line one of the speakers shared that especially stuck out to me… “there’s purpose in the pain.” When I think of Jeremy & Kristin’s story, I see that so clearly. Amidst such heartache, these two were able to trust in the Lord that he had a plan for their family beyond what they could see. When they should have crumbled, they clung to hope. They’ve chosen to trust even when it’s hard… even when it doesn’t make total sense… knowing that His plan is bigger than what we can see. And because of their hope in such darkness, they’ve allowed God to use it to bring beauty. To touch lives. Their hope has been such a beautiful encouragement to not only me, but countless others. And it’s all because they could see past their current circumstances at the time to trust that God was writing a story for their lives that needed to be shared and needed to be heard.
Jeremy & Kristin used to be wedding photographers, but it’s so incredible to see how God has directed their path. They recently moved from Texas to Pennsylvania to plant a church, and when Kristin emailed me about photographing some new head shots as well as a few family photos, I was honored. While I primarily photograph weddings, capturing their marriage, head shots, and a few photos with their sweet girls was such a treat!
Jeremy & Kristin, thank you for trusting me to capture this time! Seeing and documenting the way you love each other and your precious girls was a privilege and the joy your family exudes brings such a smile to my face! Xoxo
P.S. Friends, if you’re just beginning your Christmas shopping start here! Seriously. Kristin’s online shop has so many pretty little goodies that I just love so much!!
