You know the type of person that makes you want to be a better person? The kind that inspires you through their life? THIS girl does it to me. She is a light in a dark room, a smile in a sea of frowns, and a gem in a pile of rocks. And it’s not just because she’s my sister that I feel this way.

Ohhh, Elly! I wish I could show you the astonishing light of your own being. Your heart is unmatched. People LOVE you, Elly. Everyone loves you because of the wonderful person that you are. You are sunshine. And happiness. And a southern belle. You’re everything country. You are joy and kindness. You think highly of every person you meet and love everyone you know the same, no matter their circumstance. You radiate Jesus’ love in everything you do. You are genuine. You are THAT girl that turns heads in a t-shirt.

Whenever I think of you, I think of this verse…

Elly, I am so excited for what the future holds. It is an honor to call you my sister.
