January 31, 2012

Can we hold up a second and think about this? I’ve said it before, but if you had told me years ago that I would be where I am today – I’d have said you were crazy. And yet, I am here and “here” is absolutely amazing. I am beyond blessed to do what I love and have this life to live.

But there’s more to it. Sometimes, summarizing things just doesn’t cut it. Because holy cow, how amazing is all of this?! It is truly surreal. I’m in complete awe of the ways that God has grown me and this little business of mine in the past three years. I hope to never outgrow that feeling of, “Am I really this lucky?!” My heart is flooded with things that I want to share with you. But right now? Most of all, I am thankful.

Thankful for Jesus’ provision, guidance, and presence in my life. Thankful for a family that supports me so very deeply. Thankful for photographers that chose to invest in me. Thankful for clients, turned friends, that make this all possible and are beautiful people, with beautiful stories, and beautiful hearts.

At this point, my core product is an all digital negative collection. I wouldn’t want to have my pictures taken and then have to choose which prints to buy. I want them ALL. I want to own them. So why would I give you any different?

I’ve kept this in mind when creating my brand, wanting so badly to spoil you the way I’d want to be spoiled. To have the freedom to make prints whenever you want, to share them with friends and family, to post them on Facebook, to hang proudly throughout your home… You SHOULD own them all. I WANT you to own them all. Forever. So you will, if you choose to work with me. It’s this simple, THEY ARE YOURS.

And beautiful images need beautiful packaging, don’t you agree? I think CD’s are soon going to be obsolete, so keeping with the fresh and modern goals of my brand, I decided to use a flash drive + simple, fun, refined, boutique packaging. So tell me, what do you think?
