It’s Wednesday and that means it’s time for some mid-week rambles! I have a crazy catch up day ahead of me… woohoo! It feels GOOD to get some things done! Fun things like dropping packages off at the post office, running to the bank, responding to a few emails. Ok, I just realized that probably doesn’t sound fun to 80% of you, but it’s FUN to me! Look at me rambling already and I didn’t even get to the rambling part of this post…

+ On Sunday I was sitting in church and my friend mentioned some spots opened up for the summer missions trip to Dominican Republic… an hour later, the service was over and I was calling my mom, “Heyyy, I think I’m going to go to DR. Sound good?!” …and ten minutes later I found myself sitting in the first planning meeting for the trip. I still have a few things to finalize in order to make this baby happen, but boy do I love spontaneity! So cool how God works things out sometimes. :)

+ Also! It was my sister’s birthday on Sunday! Happy Birthday Emmy!! I LOVE you. You mean so so much to me and I am so very thankful for you.

+ I woke up this morning with tears in my eyes. Why? I dreamed that I hit someone’s car in a parking lot. What! But it’s ok, now I get to walk around today claiming reality to be even better than my dreams. WIN.

+ I’ve worn the same leggings + sweater from the men’s department of KMART for the past two days. Ha. No shame. Just keepin’ it real! Probably should do something about that…

+ Speaking of no shame… WHO watched the Bachelor this season? It is my guilty pleasure. What a crazy finale! Ahhh I’m going to miss it being on every week!

+ On Saturday I leapt (Rolled/crawled is probably more accurate, but leapt sounds way cooler…) out of bed, looked out the window to see a sunshiny-almost-spring-day, ran downstairs, and asked my dad, “It’s a mint capris kinda day, right?!” He smiled, nodded, and said “I think it is a ‘mint capris kinda day.” Poor guy. This is why he’s the greatest dad in the world. :) Needless to say this girl was excited to wear her mint capris!!!!!

+ I got some new trendy glasses recently, but I’m still debating if I’m hipster enough to wear them… time will tell. :)
