This blog post is the kind that’s surreal to type… the kind that leaves you sitting there thinking, waaaaait, did that really happen?!

If you follow me on Instagram, you know I’m just returning from a twenty day backpacking trip to Europe! (YEP… I really was able to fit twenty days of my life in a backpack, despite popular belief. Shocker!!) But what started this whole little dream in the first place was when I got an email from sweet Hannah K., a talented UK based photographer, inquiring about my mentoring sessions. When I received her email I was thrilled… and then when I learned she lived in London (!!!) I didn’t quite know what to do with myself! Ha!

Well one little email turned into plans for the trip of a lifetime with my friend Vanessa (more trip details + pics coming soon, promise :) and after almost a year of emails exchanged back and forth with Hannah with way too many exclamation points and IS THIS REAL LIFE’s (JK… never too many!!) on my part, we somehow found ourselves sitting in the quaintest little coffee shop in all of London chatting as if we’d known each other forever.

This girl… oh goodness, she blew me away. Hannah has a down-to-earth personality that I immediately connected with and spending a day with her sharing our hearts for our businesses and dreaming about the future of her’s was a privilege I will never forget. Really.

When our time came to an end, it was hard to say goodbye! Hannah became a fast friend and someone I am so excited to cheer on as her business continues to grow and flourish in the UK! She is a beautiful person that I am confident God is going to continue to use to encourage lives and marriages through her business and gift. She’s one to watch… her combo of a gentle spirit, yet determined business savviness is unstoppable!

Hannah, so much love to you!! I’m sending big hugs from across the ocean to both you and Joel!!
