She walked around the girl’s dressing room the morning of her wedding day, exuding joy and love in her calm and peaceful presence. Before donning her dress, she slipped into her Kate Spade flats while still wearing her comfy sweats, then joked that she was tempted to just wear that, sweats and cute shoes — for comfort’s sake — instead of her fancy dress. “Brett wouldn’t care” she laughed.

Ultimately, the dress won, and Haley truly made a radiant bride. But later as we laughed to Brett about it, he simply smiled saying, “That’s my girl.”

You see, their love is easy. They love each other with everything they are, yet in such a simple and natural way. Their ceremony was brief with deep, meaningful words rather than long-winded and full of empty traditions, which is a true reflection of who they are as a couple. Ohhhh, it is so clear to see that Brett + Haley are soul mates… in every sense of the word. From the start of their elegant brunch wedding at the Inn at Leola Village, to the end, which concluded in Brett + Haley reading a poem of gratitude written to their guests, every moment was so very thoughtful.

To Brett + Haley… thank you. For your kindness. Your trust. And your caring genuine hearts. It was a true honor to capture your wedding day and I loved being a part of such a special celebration of your love. I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites… and I hope you’re loving the Bahamas! ;)
