In Limon, Costa Rica on a missions trip. Walking streets like this…
And eating food like this…
And most importantly, building relationships with people like this…
And this…
And this…
Spending ten days serving the people of Costa Rica last summer was life-altering. It was an experience that stretched me in ways I never imagined possible. All I felt for those ten days was love. Pure, blissful, joyful, unabashed love. I’ve never felt so welcome and comfortable in the company of strangers. And yet, as we stood under the small roof of their church, singing in different languages the same song, in the same tune, to the same God – I simply knew they were not strangers at all.
