Once a week, without fail, a letter would arrive for her in the mail. She could bank on it. Written in the handwriting she had come to recognize in an instant, “Miss Lauren Buckwalter” was inscribed on the front of every envelope. Little did she know, Neal was stealing her heart with each stroke of his pen.

Week by week, her letter collection grew, and so did their love. When she came home from college on break, she didn’t expect a letter since they’d be able to see each other instead. But Neal is consistent and sure of one thing… his love for Lauren. So when she noticed a letter in the back of his pocket as she helped him clean the house he’d just bought, she snatched it out, excitedly reading it and breathing in each word. Then her eyes fell on the final sentence, “Now turn to me…” And right there, Neal got down on one knee and pledged his love to Lauren, asking her to be his wife.

Since Neal is a country boy through and through, it was only fitting that we held their engagement session on his farm. It was such an honor to spend an evening with Neal + Lauren and I’m so incredibly excited to work with them at their Ironstone Ranch wedding next May. If our time together is any indication of how their wedding day will be, I know great things are in store. :) In the mean time, enjoy some of my favorites!!
