December 30, 2011
Something gets me about this month. December is the twelfth and last chapter in a really good book, it’s the encore to a concert, and dessert after an incredible meal. It’s a time to think and reflect of the year that will soon be concluded, and a time to plan for the year to come.
In the past, I’ve labeled New Years Resolutions as kind of corny. Solely because of the fact that they never seemed to happen. It seemed to me as though someone was saying to the world, “Watch me fail.”
Guess what? I was wrong. Resolutions can be good. A resolution is a position arrived at after deep consideration, and a firm or unwavering adherence to one’s purpose. I like that.
This list I’m about to share is not meant as a threat to myself. If I come back to this post around this time next year and only feel as though I truly accomplished one thing, I will be totally pleased.
