When my sweet friends Kat of Dear Sweetheart Events and Taylor of Letters of Grace Calligraphy emailed me about a big dream they had brewing, I couldn’t contain my excitement for them! It was the kind of heart-bursting-have to-tell-the-world-happiness that’s reserved for EXTRA special occasions… the kind of thing you use WAY too many exclamation points when talking about!! But at the time, this dream they were sharing was top secret, so I had to keep it under wraps! But now?! I’m so honored and excited to share with you this beautiful dream they’re making a reality!

In January 75 amazing creatives will gather together in the cute little town of Staunton, Virginia to learn, grow, and connect with one another in an inviting and welcoming atmosphere for the first ever Creative at Heart Conference!! Kat and Taylor have poured SO much heart into this conference and I’ve loved watching their vision for it develop over the past few months… and it’s beautiful. So so beautiful. Not JUST because of how gorgeous the branding Lauren at Elle & Co. designed to represent it, but because of the HEART behind it. This is a conference designed for you (and you, and you, and you!). A conference with a mission to provide practical knowledge and inspiring content. A conference with a heart to build community among ALL creatives – planners, calligraphers, photographers, etsy shop owners, and more! And that? I believe it’s exactly what we as creatives crave.

I think K&T put it best… “…Here we are. Following God’s pull to do something BIG. To make a difference. To encourage other ladies just like us… to meet you & hug you & help you grow. Not because we’re so awesome or because we have all the right answers… but because we understand the desire for community, for friendship, for growth. The heart behind Creative at Heart is you. It’s for ALL of you… we don’t care if your business is still a dream or you’ve been doing it for eight years!! We wanted to create an outlet for ALL of you to learn from one another and laugh, a lot. Our hope was to create something that inspires you… that picks you up when you’re down & gives you the practical knowledge you need to soar. And we are still pinching ourselves when we look at the amazing creatives who’ll be there doing just that. AMAZING women who desire to help you shake up the industry… KIND, GENEROUS, INSPIRING women who want to instill in you a sense of “Yes! I CAN do this!!”… because you can. And you will.”

Ohhhh I am just so completely honored and excited to be taking part in this!
