Well my Wednesday evening was amazing because it included three things I absolutely love: photography, road-trips, and meeting new people! Caroline (who happens to have the best name in the world… in my totally unbiased opinion! ;) is a photographer, so when she emailed me about shooting some headshots for her new branding that’s in the works, I was excited! Professional headshots are important and I know what a game changer they can be! So even though this is my busy season, and I’m typically not able to take on tons of extra work, I’m so glad we found a time to squeeze this in! Caroline lives just outside of Philly, so we found a place to meet up and shoot courtesy of our good friend Google and went for it! Whew! This was an ADVENTURE!
Caroline originally found my work on instagram, which I think makes this ten times more awesome… what a connection! Hello 21st Century, definitely a sign of the times. ;) But seriously, from the moment Caroline hopped out of her car and ran up to give me a big hug, it felt like we’d known each other forever! She is just so spunky and full of life! I loved walking around Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site (which is STUNNING! If it weren’t an hour away, I’d shoot there all the time! ;) and chatting about our businesses! There’s something about the bond of fellow photographers. I’ve found that you just CLICK instantly and have millions of things to talk about. Seriously. There were even times that I’d have to be like “Waitttt, we’re losing light we better stop talking and keep shooting!” ;)
