They grew up together in the same church and knew each other well. She was the tall beauty in his youth group, that Lindsay King. A cheerful heart and infectious laugh, her beauty stemmed deep and her joy was contagious. But there was one thing Caleb didn’t know about Lindsay. He didn’t know of her affection for the witty, hilarious boy she’d known for so long: him.

But as every good love story goes, soon enough, Caleb caught on, and their adoration for one another continued to grow as he pursued a relationship with her. Because they had been friends since childhood, this friendship-based relationship was strong from the start. And as they moved through different seasons of their lives, it only grew surer and firmer.

It was while Lindsay was in Costa Rica for a short time that Caleb decided on forever and planned to ask her to marry him upon her return. Needless to say, Caleb was just a little excited to propose to his girl, because as her flight landed and she made her way to the baggage claim, there Caleb stood waiting for her, with a smile on his face and a sign in his hands asking her to marry him.
