They’re laid back. They’ve kept up a long distance relationship, Haley in Pittsburg and Brett in Columbus, for quite some time, so obviously always treasure the time that they do have together. One of their favorite things to do is to catch up on each other’s lives over a glass of wine and some cheese each time they’re reunited. So it only seemed right that Brett propose in a way that reflected their relationship. Nothing extravagant, but something infinitely more special because it represents them… natural.

On this particular visit, Brett kept going on and on to Haley about the new cheese that he got and how much she was going to like it. She sure did like it, because there, spelled out in muenster on the cheese board were those four little words, “Will you marry me?” and there before her was Brett, her man, down on one knee with the sparkliest bling you’ve ever seen held out to her.

One of my favorite things about them is they just are. Their love is real. Genuine. Unforced. It’s easy to see they’re the perfect fit and clear that together is where they’re meant to be. She’s a breath of fresh air and completes Brett in every way, and he protects her and makes her feel completely comfortable.

Brett + Haley, thank you. So much. For braving the SNOW. For being completely flexible and up for anything. For being such naturals in front of my camera and making freezing cold temperatures look so GOOD. I am thrilled to be capturing your wedding day and can’t wait to be there to celebrate with you.
