Brett + Becky

Joy. That’s the only word there is to describe a day like March 22nd, 2014. A day that by history’s weather standards should have been frigid and dull, but instead was dripping in warm sunshine both literally and figuratively. Overwhelming, unabashed, bursting at the seams JOY that seeped into every square inch of that cozy barn. It radiated as loved ones celebrated a spectacular love story, and an even more beautiful future to come as Mr. & Mrs., for the beauty of this day was that it was truly just the beginning.

From the moment Becky slipped into her stunning crisp white wedding gown accompanied by the sound of excited squeals from her sweetest friends surrounding her… to the moment Brett’s smile beamed so brightly and tears filled his eyes as he saw this most incredible woman before him walking down the aisle, it was a powerful and beautiful celebration. Brett loves Becky in a way she never could have possibly dared to dream being loved. He’s the strong and steady to her sweet and silly, and together they’ll form a marriage that is deeply rooted and founded on Christ.

Something truly beautiful about Brett + Becky is the way they treasure the people in their life. One of their greatest desires for their wedding day was for each one of their guests to feel so very loved, valued, and honored for the significant investment and involvement they’d had in Brett + Becky’s lives both as individuals and as a couple. Judging by guests reactions as they sat down to their reception place setting to find before them a long, carefully and personally hand-written letter addressed to them, I’d say Brett + Becky achieved that and so much more. A gesture that was simply out of the overflow of their hearts, a dear and meaningful reflection of who Brett + Becky are as a couple.

Brett + Becky… gratitude is just filling my heart so much as I sit here and try to express my thankfulness to have been a part of your lives during this most precious season!! I feel so deeply blessed to now call you two friends, and feel honored to have been the one to capture your love story. I am going to save MY letter from you guys forever. :) I love you both big time and hope you enjoy this summary of your amazing wedding day! XOXO!

I just love a pretty blush pink color palette! Becky had told me she was envisioning a “rustic elegance” wedding style… I believe she achieved just that.
