When you’re in an industry like this it would be easy to feel alone since you don’t have “co-workers” that you can pop your head over a cubicle to talk to and bounce ideas off of. ;) That’s why I’m so thankful for the relationships I’ve built with fellow photographers, both nationally, and right here in Lancaster, who’ve become my photographer family. We may not share an office space and have our desks all lined up in a row, but we DO share something so much greater than that: a love for our craft and desire to serve and bless our clients through it. Fellow photographers like this have enriched this journey for me through their friendship and support, making it even more fun and exciting!
Mike + Brittney are some of those people. They are a husband + wife photography team and I can’t say how awesome it’s been getting to know them over the past year! It’s funny, because we as photographers coach people so often on the importance of documenting each season of your life, and yet, it’s easy to forget to do that ourselves! ;) Let me tell you, it is FUN photographing photographers because they “get it.” These two really did make my job easy! I love that Mike + Brittney wanted some portraits of the two of them (and their little fur-baby, Baxter ;) to capture this sweet time in their life. Nothing elaborate or over the top, just them more than three years after their wedding day, with a love that grows stronger day by day. :)
Mike + Brittney, I can’t thank you enough for choosing me to capture this time in your life! It was truly an honor and I count myself blessed to know you two. :) Enjoy a few of my favorites from our time together!
