After a storybook wedding day that left them with full, grateful hearts, they sat side by side at the sweetheart’s table at their reception taking it all in. Surrounded by all of their very favorite people, they laughed, wiped tears, and clinked glasses to lifelong happiness. It was so clear in that moment how much each of their wedding guests meant to them, yet in the same breath: how much they meant to each of their wedding guests. Toasts were made throughout the evening linking back to the fact that Shaun + Laura are just good people. Pure and simple. They’re the type that care. That come alongside you, support you, and make you feel whole. The type that push you to be better, yet love you the way you are.

One of the things that make Shaun + Laura so special is how they’re so appreciative. Moments, people, special things – they take nothing for granted. So from the second the church bells chimed and Laura walked confidently down the aisle in the arm of her father towards Shaun, until the last song of their reception played and they swayed back and forth, pulling each other in close — they soaked in every moment, treasuring each one.

Shaun + Laura, thank you. I appreciate your loving hearts more than words can say and it has been such a joy being welcomed into documenting this sweet season of your lives! I feel so honored to have captured it, and am just so excited for you two!! This was so sweet! Laura surprised her grandpa by inviting him to the dance floor for a special dance to honor his late wife. It was an emotional moment as they danced to her favorite song.
