Well I’ve been looking forward to meeting Kaitlyn and photographing her senior pictures for what feels like quite a long time now! Kaitlyn contacted me months ago and we saved a date in November to take her senior pictures. At that time, it felt look FOREVER away, but it certainly gave us something to look forward to! Well the end of November arrived before we knew it… and so did some chilly temperatures. :) But I love that Kaitlyn specifically chose a date when the weather would be cooler because fall is her favorite season! We laughed about our mutual adoration for all things warm + cozy… and how nothing beats an oversized fuzzy sweater. ;)

Kaitlyn isn’t quite sure yet where she wants to go to college after she graduates, but here’s the thing I know about Kaitlyn: no matter what she does, no matter where she goes — she’ll succeed. I mean it. She has this gentle nature about her that draws you in, and a joyful presence that lights up a room. Because of this, I know wherever she ends up, she’ll touch peoples lives and make them smile a little bit brighter just by being around her. She certainly had that effect on me after only an hour or two together. :)

Kaitlyn, you are gorgeous inside and out (I know that’s cliche to say, but hey, it’s the truth!) and I can’t wait to see how you use your gifts and that sweet heart of yours in the future!! Thanks for braving the cold temps with me… I think it was well worth it. :) I hope you enjoy the rest of this exciting year ahead and enjoy a few of my favorites from your senior session! Xoxo!
