Jordan + Sarah

Wedding

July 1, 2014

What began just as a sweet little ninth grade high-school romance had grown into a deep, unwavering love… a love nearly nine years in the making. Jordan + Sarah had waited so long for this day and it was finally here… there couldn’t have been more joy + anticipation! As Sarah put on her final touches in the upstairs floor of her grandparents’ home, she peeked out the window and saw the white chairs set up in neat rows in the gardens below for the ceremony. All of the sudden it hit her today was the day… in only a few hours she’d be walking down that aisle on her daddy’s arm to her groom! Ahh! There was so much squealing and happiness in that upstairs room from all Sarah’s bridesmaids as she stepped into her stunning wedding dress that transformed her into a bride… when Jordan saw her later at their first look he just held her so tightly and couldn’t take his eyes off her all day.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard guests cheer so loudly as they did when the pastor pronounced Jordan + Sarah husband + wife… fists were pumping and friends were clapping and cheering as tears flowed. They were MARRIED! Finally! This was a day for celebration and rejoicing as they remembered God’s faithfulness in their lives. I especially loved that on this day it wasn’t the Horst family and the Miller family… Jordan + Sarah had been dating for so long it just felt like one, big happy family that had all gathered together to love and cheer Jordan + Sarah on in this new adventure!

Jordan + Sarah live with joy and intention and I know that their marriage is going to be one that impacts and inspires other people to love bigger and deeper and more authentically. They are two selfless people who truly care genuinely for others, and it was so encouraging to hear testament to that in conversation throughout the night from loved ones sharing what that’s meant in each one of their lives.

Jordan + Sarah… you two are an incredible pair and I’ve adored you guys from the start. Really, you’ve left me at a loss for words. Your day and the love that you share was a privilege for me to witness and capture. Documenting the start of this new chapter you’re beginning together as husband + wife was the sweetest of honors. Thank you for the privilege! I love you guys and hope you enjoy a summary of your day!! Xoxo!

The day was held at Sarah’s grandparents’ farm… I loved that it held such special meaning!

Sarah has the best taste!! Loved these Francesca’s bridesmaids dresses!

Addi Harder did such a lovely job on Sarah’s makeup and Katelin Eberly did her gorgeous hair… flawless!

Jordan, you did good, sir…!

Love that picture of Sarah’s grandparents on day one… :)

Something blue… ;)

A huge thank you to my second shooter for the day, Caroline, for hanging out with the guys while they got ready…

While I was with the girls…!

First Looks will always be my favorite…

Sarah’s grandpa is a master gardener. I remarked on how hard he must have worked to prepare the grounds for the big day and they shook their heads and said it always looks like this… AMAZING!!

Love!

Beautiful!

Always so fun when the bridal party joins us and gets to see them together for the first time on their wedding day!!

This was a fun crew!

Yessss. New favorite bouquet shot!

Nice, guys…

Sarah’s dad built these pieces for the ceremony and I was obsessed!

Last few moments until they lined up to walk…

And then it was time! Love that shot of Caroline’s on the left just before Sarah and her dad made their way down the aisle…

I love that look on Sarah’s dad’s face in this one…

MARRIED! …FINALLY!

Ha! Love this… checkin’ out that bling!

The love of a momma…

These reception details were the cutest…

Coolest donut dessert bar! Everyone loved it!!

Oh goodness, they got each other good… and laughed the whole time. :)

And then we snuck outside for a few more portraits during golden hour and I couldn’t love this next set any more if I tried…

Back to the party!

Messiah College represent! So fun to see so many familiar faces of guests from past weddings!

Speaking of familiar faces! Remember these two couples?!! Neal + Lauren and Kevin + Jackie! Oh goodness I love them both and loved catching up! They both just celebrated their one year anniversary AND Jackie + Kevin welcomed little Hailey Ann Wile into the world just a few days after the wedding!! Congrats you guys!!

Party time. This crew could DANCE…

Sarah changed into a matching bridesmaids dress in white to dance in… loved that!

And surprise fireworks to end a perfect day! Congrats again Mr. & Mrs. Miller!!
