I’m a lucky girl because I got to spend the morning with sweet Paisley Jean the other day — what a JOY. Seriously, I know I say it a lot, but I love what I do… especially when snuggling a two week old is included in the mix.

New Mama Lauren comes from an incredible family… the type that you look at and wish you were a part of. The thing is, you don’t have to wish it for long, because they make you feel so comfortable and welcome that after spending a few minutes with them, you feel as though you are a part of their family. Seriously, they are the best. A more joyful, close knit, Christ-honoring family would be hard to find.

I had the honor of not only photographing today’s session, but I also captured Lauren’s brother’s wedding last December, and took newborn pictures when her sister had a baby back in November. Every moment I get to spend with these guys is such a blessing to my life, and I’m sure so many people who are lucky enough to know them feel the same way.

To Paisley Jean, you may not know it yet, but you are so so blessed to be loved by so many amazing people. May you not only know that you are loved, but may you feel it too. And when you grow up and need a reminder now and then, I hope you take a look at these pictures and see it.
