They met in college and though their careers took them separate places, their hearts have always found home in each other. With six years long distance to boast over, it’s no question their deep commitment, well-practiced communication skills, and ability to always put each other first will carry into their marriage and continue to strengthen it.
It was just another simple weekend spent together in New York, or so Chloe thought. As they walked along a brick pathway by the water before dinner, Chloe looked down and saw a brick that said “Chloe, will you marry me?” Thinking it was crazy that someone named Chloe had been proposed to in that very spot, she looked up to laugh at the irony with Dan. But just then, he flashed a knowing smile back at her, got down on one knee with the diamond ring of her dreams in his hands, and asked her to marry him. In shock and constantly saying “is this real?!” they walked into the restaurant for their reservations to find a room full of people they loved waiting to celebrate with them. Happy tears.
Dan & Chloe, I loved spending the evening enjoying DC with you and seriously can’t wait for your wedding next June! For now, here are a few of my favorites from our time together! Xo
