They’re an eHarmony success story and after just a few minutes watching the way Huy & Amanda care for each other, you’d be sold… these two should be eHarmony spokesmodels!

Though Amanda had her distance preferences set to limit her results to a ten minute radius from Harrisburg, Huy knew 120 miles couldn’t stop him from meeting the woman of his dreams. So on November 15th, 2014, he drove to Amanda’s hometown where they met up for lunch… followed me a movie… followed by Starbucks… and twelve hours later they both knew their connection was undeniable.

After nearly a year of dating, Huy had learned a lot about this woman he loved with all his heart. Important things like her values, hopes & dreams, and of course her obsession with dolphins. In fact, they shared their first kiss by the dolphin tanks at the Baltimore Aquarium, so it was only fitting as Huy planned the proposal day that he honored this part of their story.

He gave her a little love note one Sunday night before making his usual trek back to Baltimore for his work week, including instructions at the end which said he had a surprise planned for her for the following weekend…
 
On Friday came a final clue card, revealing that she was going to be doing the dolphin encounter at the aquarium, playing with the dolphins in a one-on-one session. During the dolphin encounter, the trainer said that the dolphin, Spirit, was going to go get a toy and bring it back to Amanda. She sent Spirit across the tank to get a “toy” from the other trainer, but when Spirit returned and popped out of the water, she had a buoy in her mouth that said “AMANDA Will You Marry Me?” Shocked and overwhelmed with joy, Amanda turned around to find Huy down on one knee before her with a ring in his hand and a huge smile spread across his face.
