Sometimes I sit at my computer keyboard for far too long waiting for proper words that do a day justice to come to me… and then I come to realize sometimes there really AREN’T words that fully express or encompass it all. But goodness I wish you could have felt the joy of this day.

It was 30 degrees with a windchill of who knows what on December 19th 2015, but I look at these photos and just see so much love and warmth. I nearly forget the fact that my fingers were numb to the point that I could hardly click the shutter… HA.

Patrick & Brooke… they’re something extraordinary. From the moment I received my first all caps/too-many-exclamation-points-to-count email from Brooke I knew I was just going to loveeee these two and turns out I was 100% RIGHT.

It’s hard not to, really. They have this vivacious, draw-you-in, fill-your-heart-up-to-the-brim type of love and joy about them that’s modeled straight after the heart of Jesus. And their families? The kindest souls as well. Between both their parents and four sets of grandparents total still living and standing faithfully by each other’s sides, Patrick & Brooke have six incredible, lasting marriages to look up to and model theirs after. What a blessing!

I couldn’t be happier or more honored to have documented this sweet day filled with so much joy and emotion, and really can’t think of a better way to have wrapped up my 2015 wedding season!

Patrick & Brookelynn, you know I love you guys! Thank you for braving the frozen tundra that is Lancaster with huge smiles and gracious hearts for beautiful portraits, for making me feel so loved and welcome, and for trusting me to capture such a significant day in your lives!
