A Historic Shady Lane Wedding | Brendan & Hannah

Wedding

May 30, 2018

I honestly can’t remember the first time I met Hannah… but that’s not on account of my bad memory. See, from the moment you meet her, she makes you feel like you’ve been friends your whole life. She lifts people up and nurtures those around her with everything she’s got, welcoming anyone in and treating you like a close friend from the start. So it’s no wonder from the moment Brendan met this girl from Lancaster the idea of driving 7+ hours from Boston just to spend time around her was a no brainer.

It was pretty obvious from the start that this was *it* and seeing Hannah so radiant not just on May 18th, 2018 but like every day of her lifeeee is just the greatest/coolest thing. Ask anyone and they’ll agree, Brendan & Hannah are one of those couples you love to be around (helps that Hannah will take any opportunity to compliment you, that’s just who she is, and WHO DOESN’T love being around that lol). <3

Not only did Brendan & Hannah have a whopping 18 person bridal party, but friends and family traveled in from all over the country for this day. I know that’s entirely due to the kind of couple they are and the way they shine the love and light of Jesus every chance they get.

The forecast all week leading up to their *outdoor ceremony* wedding was rain, with Friday being 100% chance. So we overnighted clear umbrellas, talked about back-up plans, and prayed. Fervent prayers for miraculous clear skies were said from everyone who loves Brendan & Hannah and WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT not a drop of rain fell from the sky the whole day long. It felt like the Lord’s favor shining down on them and a reminder of His faithfulness even in the smallest details of our lives.

I LOVED THIS DAY SO MUCH but my very favorite moment was a small one that only few witnessed. It was when Hannah’s dad, overwhelmed in pride and joy, specifically reminded Hannah of the steadfast daughter, friend, and sister she is. I have no doubt she’ll now carry that strength into her marriage as Brendan’s WIFE.

Hannah’s always said (even before meeting Brendan) that *I want you to shoot my wedding someday* and so the fact that I really did get to be the one photographing her as the most radiant bride ever was a dream come true. I felt like a bonus bridesmaid throughout the day and YEAH I even could get on the dance floor so basically it was the kind of day I never wanted to end.

Brendan & Hannah you are so loved (duh)… come back to Lancaster often and always!!!
