It was nine years ago when they met. Heather was out with her mom for a girl’s night and as fate would have it, decided to grab a bite to eat at the same restaurant where Shane was working at the time.

Shane introduced himself as their waiter to this reaaaally pretty girl and her mom and by the end of their meal, Heather’s mom (the ever eager matchmaker and flawless wing woman) asked Shane “when he was getting off work.” He told them to come back and hang out after they went to the show they had tickets for… and they did. Later that night, he walked them to their hotel after the bar closed, exchanged phone numbers with Heather, and the rest is history. <3

It was June 22nd, 2017 while vacationing in Greece that Shane proposed to the love of his life, overlooking the most beautiful Santorini sunset at dinner. Picture perfect, it was the kind of proposal that belonged in a movie scene. And for Heather, it was a no brainer answer! But not because of the beautiful view, the stunning ring, or the incredibly romantic moment. But because there before her, stood the man of her dreams… her best friend… her soul mate… her future husband. She hardly gave Shane a chance to even officially ASK HER to be his wife before she flung her arms around his neck and screamed yes!
