Coloring in dollar store coloring books? I’ve always loved it, and still do. It’s almost therapeutic for me to just sit and color for hours and hours.

Chalking? SO MUCH FUN. I used to chalk entire towns on our driveway. Roads, stop signs, houses, shops, gas stations… the whole nine yards.

Painting nails? You already know it’s one of my obsessions! I can’t get enough of pretty nails.

Doodling? My fav thing ever. I’ve written and signed my name so many times in so many fonts throughout the years that I’m surprised my hand hasn’t fallen off yet.

But when it comes to drawing and painting? I’ve NEVER been good. Ever. The whole “draw a self portrait of yourself” assignment in fifth grade art class? It made me CRINGE. Somehow “I” (or whatever the alien-esque drawing was) would always end up having two different sized eyes, lopsided ears, a creepy looking nose, and REALLY bushy eyebrows.

That’s why this week’s LOVE may come as a bit of a shock to you. But without further ado…

This week’s LOVE: Draw Something! A.K.A. a fun little social drawing and guessing game iPhone app. I don’t know what’s gotten into me, but it’s addicting! My poor friends that choose to play with me probably take a nap while they wait for me to finish my drawing, because THIS perfectionist takes FOR.EVER. Hey you can’t blame me, I’m an artist, ok?! And of course it’s an art! Just call me Picasso ;)

Not that I’m ready for my Draw Something open house quiteeee yet, but here’s some of my masterpieces as of lately… ;)
