I loooove two things… making plans and being consistent. I just realized that makes me sound like a total dork. I’m really kind of cool – promise!

Blogging for me is FUN because I love to write, love to share what’s on my heart, and love to interact more with all of you. The not so fun part? Figuring out WHAT to blog ABOUT! It’s a daily struggle… or it was. UNTIL! I started mapping out my blogging calendar by month. This has revolutionized my schedule! No more will I have to sit around racking my brain for something to bore you with. Instead, I just bring up iCal in the morning and BOOM, I know what’s in store to hit the blog later that day.

So in keeping with my other favorite word, consistency, I’m starting a new weekly segment here on the blog! “Monday Musings” is my way of reviewing the past week and sharing about goodies to come in the future. Yay!

The first installment provides some BIG news. On Friday I got my license!! AHHHH! That is a huge deal for THIS GIRL, and also my mom who won’t have to play taxi driver for all my sessions. ;) I drove for the first time on my own the other day and it went something like this…

Honda: starts engine
Me: Hmmmm here goes.
Honda: vroooooooom
Me: Hey Momm-wait, you’re not there. Riiiiight. Well, this is weird. This is WEIRD. This is REALLY WEIRD. Hey nobody.

Yes, I said all of that out loud to myself. I’ll probably be that weird person talking to myself at the stop light. Driving on your own is LONELY. And while the first time I drove on my own may not have been the most euphoric moment ever, it’s certainly one I’ll want to remember for the rest of my life. That’s why I blogged about it. :)

This week’s LOVE: Sweetened Passion Fruit Lemonade from Starbucks. Have you guys tried this? Ummm amazing. It’s the perfect blend to quench your thirst this summer, but then again, did you expect anything less from Starbucks? :)

In other news, I got to photograph my first maternity session this past week which also happened to be the SWEETEST mommy and daddy-to-be you’ve ever laid eyes on. Seriously, you guys?! Thao, you’re gorgeous. More to come!
