Love at first sight, pure and simple. That’s the way their story begins when they recount the first moment their eyes met. She sat in the front church pew on her brother’s wedding day as the prelude music played softly on the organ and straggling guests slipped into the back of the sanctuary as the final minutes drew near until the wedding processional would begin. By chance, she spun around in her seat to face the back of the church just moments before the ceremony started — locking eyes with a guy she didn’t recognize as he walked through the chapel doors. They still blush now recalling the moment their eyes met, describing the deep connection they felt in that fleeting moment, even from across an entire room.

Yet on August 23rd they stood at the front of their own wedding ceremony with that same deep connection, only even stronger now, as they held hands and locked eye, pledging their love and commitment to each other in their wedding vows. The love Cody + Gina have for one another is undeniable, and every person sitting in attendance could attest to the beautiful, extravagant love they share. As Cody + Gina were pronounced as the newly minted Mr. & Mrs. Cody Conklin and they took their first steps as husband + wife, guests cheered and popped confetti — celebrating with them and soaking in the beauty of the day. It was truly a beautiful start to a lifetime of love.

Cody + Gina are amazing, joy-filled people, with families that love and support them to the ends of the earth. This day was about the joining of two families, and I couldn’t have felt more blessed to be the one to document every moment. Their day was one of joy and celebration. Appreciation and love. Cody + sweet Gina (and Conklin and Kellett families!) I adore you guys and feel so completely grateful to have been a part of this sweet season of your lives!
