Both attending the same college and studying the same major of accounting, they’d often find themselves spending countless hours together in the library pouring over textbooks and pages of class notes. However, it wasn’t until one night in particular while hanging out with a group of friends that they really truly came to know each other. Laughing, chatting, and flirting throughout the evening – they connected in a way they hadn’t expected they would. Amy left the evening with a twinkle in his eye, and Nick — with her phone number in his hand.

Later, after a little coaxing and encouragement from his buddies, he zipped her a text — making a comment about her needing to show him what Lancaster was made of. They laugh now about that fateful text, but it peaked Amy’s interest enough to accept his request whole-heartedly.

Little did either of them know at the time, there was one more request of his in store for them down the road that she’d once again accept whole-heartedly. As they found themselves strolling Longwood Gardens, Nick stopped Amy among the garden paths at a secluded bench, then knelt by her side and asked her to marry him. And it was there that Amy said YES — yes to him, yes to their future together, yes to forever loving each other unconditionally… and YES to the most gorgeous diamond ring she’d ever laid eyes on being slipped on her finger. ;)

Nick + Amy, after spending time with you last week, I am even more thrilled and excited about the things in store on October 4th, 2014! It’s going to be an AMAZING day, and I can’t wait to capture it as you celebrate your marriage commitment amongst all the people you love most.
