If I could choose one word to depict what Zach + Rebecca’s wedding day was, it would be rejoicing. Beginning to end. As they sat cozied amongst their closest friends and family at their wedding reception, their siblings and parents made meaningful toasts to the strong people Zach + Rebecca are. The road they’d walked together throughout their relationship wasn’t always easy – but that’s one of the things I love most about Zach and Rebecca anyway. There is an authenticity in who they are and the way they treat their loved ones… it’s pure, genuine, and filled with grace. As Zach + Rebecca walked through a long distance relationship in college, being blessed with their sweet son Liam, Zach attending and graduating from Ranger School in Georgia while Becca graduated from George Mason University, and oh, planning a wedding! There was truly so much meaning in their day to rejoice over on May 24th, 2015.
So celebrate they did… Zach + Rebecca are two of the most appreciative people I know, and their day was filled with sweet embraces, deep joy, and grateful hearts as they rejoiced with their nearest and dearest for each season that God had carried and walked with them through.
The way they treat others overflows from the way they treat each other… Zach treats Becca like she’s his universe, tenderly serving and leading her as he cares for her heart. And it’s so clear how much respect Becca has for this man of her dreams in the way she puts him first and cares for him with a selfless kind of love. Together, they are a team, that fills in each others weaknesses and highlights each others strengths.
Zach + Becca’s day left me with a full and thankful heart for the privilege of being welcomed into a couple and their families lives… to learn their story, document their love to be looked back on for a lifetime, and to celebrate with them as they start a new journey as husband and wife! Zach + Becca, thank you for treating me like family and trusting me to capture this sweetest of days! And for causing me to fall even more in love with this job I get to do! I’m so grateful. I hope you enjoy this summary of your beautiful wedding day! Xo
