Joyful. That’s the word people have always used when describing Emily Charles. That’s also the word people have always used when describing Cooper Miller, yet prior to their college paths bringing them to the same small town of Lynchburg, Virginia, they weren’t even aware of each other’s existence. Yet this Lancaster County girl and this California boy met and fell in love, and that love has spanned across an entire country… bringing them to this day they’d make a commitment to love and to cherish each other for all the days of their life to come.

As two incredibly genuine, intentional, and joy seeking people — their day shined just that. Guests flew in from across the country to see Cooper + Emily wed on her grandparents farm in the heart of Lancaster County, and I loved seeing the way Cooper and Emily treasured each second of their wedding… the sweet excitement as they prepared in the morning, the emotion of seeing each other for the first time, the cozy barn ceremony as they spoke strong vows with great intention, the warm hugs they gave every single guest after the ceremony, the way they swayed back and forth under the blue night sky as husband and wife… Cooper + Emily lived their wedding day with grateful smiles in their hearts and on their faces, shining that very same joy they both are so loved for in a way that contagiously spread to every guest in attendance.
