When I was little, all I could think about was being featured on the news. I dreamed about it daily and schemed clever little plans that might land me in the limelight. I’m happy to say, I achieved that dream. Unfortunately, it was way cooler IN my dreams than in reality. I came to this realization as I stood ten inches from our old box television squinting at rows of elementary school students trying to pick myself out. Yeah.

Which brings me to my point… something INFINITELY better than being on the news for two seconds. This past friday I was featured on Aysha Nicole Photography’s blog that has the best deals on portrait studio packages. I met Aysha at the workshop I attended a couple of weeks ago and just loved her sweet demeanor. Having friends in this industry is invaluable, and it’s exciting to have seventeen new ones to encourage and be encouraged by. SO check out my very first feature right HERE! But before you go, did you notice anything different around here yet? Yes, the blog got a facelift! It was high time, too! And although it’s sliiiightly awkward for me to click over to the blog and see ME! RIGHT! THERE! IN! MY! FACE!, it’s definitely the right move in the long run. :)
