Internet, meet my dear friends, Thao and Do. See that tiny bump sweet Thao is sporting? That’s Sammie, their precious baby girl due in just a few short weeks. I was so honored that Thao and Do asked me to document this special time in their lives and am so excited about their images!

We started the session indoors so we could capture some photos with their fur baby, Cooper…

Cooper has been, in many ways, excellent preparation for Sammie. Because of him, they learned together how to put someone before themselves and to consider someone else’s needs before their own…

Oh, how I adore these next few. These pictures to me are so real. They’re the perfect depiction of life right now…

Sammie is going to grow up in a home filled with so much love…

And Cooper’s going to make such a great big brother…

It’s so important for couples to value one another and put each other first, even with the arrival of a baby. These guys do this so well…

And they will be wonderful parents, I’m SURE…

I can’t imagine how this time must feel. A mixture of excitement, love, maybe a little scared or nervous… so many emotions at the same time…

But mostly happy…

For sure, mostly happy…

Thao, you’re adorable…

It must be amazing for Do to see his wife change from the girl he’s always known into a mother…

And for Thao to watch sides of Do come out that she didn’t even know were there…

Oh the special bond between a dad and his baby… especially his baby girl…

Isn’t it wild to look at Thao and know there’s a whole PERSON in there? One with her own thoughts, feelings, and personality?

One who comes into the world with no expectations…

And whose every need you are responsible for fully…

I can’t think of two people better prepared…

Or more loving…

And eagerly anticipating their new little one!
