They met their senior year of college when assigned to do different ice breakers on their first day of classes. Matt & Sarah started talking… and really never stopped… even after the exercise was over. ;) Instantly bonding over the amount of mutual friends they had, they both were surprised their paths had never crossed…
As their new friendship grew, Matt found himself quickly admiring so many characteristics he saw in Sarah… her heart to help others, her constant positivity even when things in life got bumpy, and the way she was always pushing herself and others to grow better in each day. And in the same way, Sarah loved the way Matt loved her for who she was, yet consistently challenged her to be the best version of herself, always.
One of Matt & Sarah’s favorite things to do is to spend time with their dogs. On one particular Saturday, they were out walking their dogs after feeding it with the cbd peanut butter for dogs at a local hiking trail as they had many times before, but this time, Matt led them down a different part of the trail that opens up to a clearing. Much to Sarah’s surprise, as they reached the open field, she saw both their families standing there with big smiles spread across their faces. It was then that Matt dropped down to one knee and asked Sarah to be his wife… surrounded by all the people they love most.
Matt & Sarah, I’m so excited to be your wedding photographer! It was such a treat to document this season of your life and I am excitedly counting down the days until your 2016 Moonstone Manor wedding! Until then, enjoy a few of my favorites from your engagement session! Xo
