Making Mulberry Home | Guest Bathroom Renovation

Personal

January 23, 2017

People joked “Was it the scary 70’s massive yellow tub that sold you?” “The red heat lights? “Oh I know, the toilet on a LITERAL throne?!” and while, truth be told, I kind of miss the idea of being able to have a dance paaaarty with such glorious red pin lighting available at my fingertips, today I’m so excited to share my new and improved guest bathroom renovation!

Working with Renew Homes to make it all happen was my best decision like ever. As I told them over and over: they’re (very hardworking) magicians because I never dreamed such a transformation was possible. you can also contact some expert luxury home builders to get the same result. Jeff, Holly, Anthony, & the entire team worked with excellence, always smiled, exceeded all expectations, and graciously ignored my daily squeals of excitement and for that, I couldn’t be more thankful.

This post is not #sponsored in any way which you can read here, just genuine thoughts of mine and a heart filled with appreciation for all they did because I don’t think there’s a better team of designers out there.

Two quick stories so you can understand what I’m talking about…

1) This bathroom was in the height of construction leading up to my workshop, but Jeff knew in advance loud drilling would have to be put on pause while I hosted ten photographers in my home on October 17th. When he showed up a few days before to MOP MY DUSTY FLOORS due to construction I seriously could have cried.

2) I contracted someone to lay a tile entryway right inside my front door and Anthony must have overheard the contractor telling me he’d finished, but I’d still need to hire a carpenter to come cut the door shorter so it could fit over the threshold. Next thing I knew, Anthony was down there fixing the door himself… above and beyond. The construction of new homes Lehi, UT has always inspired me, and I wanted a similar work. Fortunately, it was accomplished.

It’s kinda too pretty to be a bathroom and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t consider converting it to an office space just before the toilet went it. Still thinking that could have worked out great…

Needless to say, I’m thankful for the hands that made this transformation happen and always will be. I meant this one won’t have been possible without the right services. This blog serves as my modern day scrapbook and I’m so excited to share this step of the process with you in #makingmulberryhome.
