It was at a mutual friend’s Memorial Day picnic that they met, when Levi, while in Helena visiting, walked up and joined the conversation Rachel was a part of. They were immediately introduced, and Rachel laughs now recalling the way she spent the rest of the afternoon nervously making small talk with Levi, playing croquet, and “trying to act cool.” ;)

She got home that evening and immediately texted two of her best friends to gush about this guy she met and how she felt weirdly super giddy…

The week following passed and Rachel hadn’t heard from Levi… until one night when a little red notification appeared in her Facebook message chat box… helloooo there Levi Rogers. ;)

Rachel was on her way home to Pennsylvania for the summer, but long Skype dates and late-night phone calls all the while brought them closer and closer together, despite their distance. As Rachel’s trip drew to an end, she changed her flight to a day earlier because she just couldn’t wait to get back to Arizona. And more specifically, a sweet boy in it named Levi who’d somehow found a home in her heart so perfectly. :)

It was while standing overlooking the Mississippi River from a rooftop in Downtown Memphis at sunset that Levi told Rachel she was the woman he couldn’t imagine spending life without, then got down on one knee and asked the girl whose heart so perfectly fit with his to be his wife. So right there, with a sunset, beautiful diamond ring, and the man she loved right before her, Rachel said yes to forever… together.

Levi + Rachel! Thanks for exploring Downtown Lititz with me and making our time together so fun!! I’m so excited for all that’s in store next November and can only hope the time passes quickly until the big day is here! I can’t wait to celebrate with you guys!
