The first thing you notice about Joel and Sarah is the way they bring out the best in each other… they are truly best friends and it’s so beautiful to see the amount of deep love and respect they carry in their hearts for one another. Sarah shared their love story with me in one of her first emails and I remember the way she talked about what a selfless, kind-hearted man Joel is and how she couldn’t wait to marry her best friend. There was so much joy and anticipation surrounding this day and my heart just felt so full as I watched it unfold moment by moment…!

Sarah had told me ahead of time that they had an unusually high acceptance rate to the wedding invitations they sent out, crediting it to the fact that she’s the first of her generation to get married on her side of the family. But after spending the day watching Joel + Sarah interact with all of their guests, it was clear there was more to it than just that… Joel + Sarah are truly some of the most genuine and caring people I’ve ever met, deeply loved and supported by every one of their wonderful family and friends.

They brought such joy to their guests through their genuine excitement… I’m not sure I’ve ever seen such a collective group of smiley guests having so much fun! But I think most of the reason people were so happy is because Joel + Sarah really do put such a huge priority on honoring others and putting them first. These two have some of the biggest hearts you could imagine and their day was one of celebration as they thanked God for everything He has done in their lives in bringing them together!

I feel so honored and grateful to get to work with people like Joel and Sarah (and the Piluso and Keefer families!) who welcome me in to such a special day in their lives… it’s an honor and privilege that never grows old! Joel + Sarah, I’ll forever hold sweet memories of your special day! Congratulations Newlyweds… enjoy my favorites from your beautiful day! You are so loved!
