There’s something so sweet about a wedding day, witnessing two souls become one. Years of dating and anticipation, months of preparation and endless wedding to-do lists, weeks of wedding countdowns, bridal showers, parties, and excitement… and then suddenly… it’s here. The day they’d been preparing for all their lives. The day they’ll promise forever.

I love that as a photographer, I get to have a fly on the wall perspective of almost every facet of the day. The emotion in the morning as it hit Janae that this is it, the day she’d marry her best friend. Brad’s excitement in seeing his bride — the way he adored her and showered her in compliments all day. Janae’s parents beaming with pride watching their daughter as a bride, pledging vows to love and to cherish for all the days of her life to a man they’d prayed for since she was young. Brad’s strong servant-leadership to Janae. The smile Janae couldn’t keep off her face…

I adore this sweet couple and was completely honored to be welcomed into documenting such a precious celebration. Their day was one of joy and thanksgiving, a day I’ll forever hold sweet memories of.
