They met in 2014 while both working as servers at a local restaurant. Adam was in the process of completing interviews for his current job in engineering, while Christina was getting ready to start graduate school later that summer. During her interview for the job, all of the managers told her they don’t hire servers without experience… so she expected not to hear anything from they as she left that day. To her surprise, they offered her the job… and at one of her first shifts she crossed paths with Adam. He had to teach her the way one of their specials worked that night… and from that night on, he would constantly ask Christina to stay and have a drink with him after their shifts ended. Knowing she had an early wake up call each morning… she turned him down for nearly a month. Until one night in June she decided to stay “just this once” … and you can probably guess the rest…

Though their jobs changed, one thing never did: they’re crazy about each other and truly meant to be.

It was while on Christina’s family vacation for the Fourth of July that Adam planned to propose. Knowing this, he asked Christina’s parents for their blessing the week before on their 36th anniversary. As Adam & Christina stepped away and strolled down the dock hand in hand to watch the sunset… he turned to Christina, his best friend and soulmate, then got down on one knee and asked her to marry him!
